By accessing this website, contacting us through any channel, or booking a Nadi astrology consultation with us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any consultation or service.
These terms apply to all visitors, seekers, and clients of Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology, whether consulting in person, through our website, via WhatsApp, phone call, or any other communication channel.
1. About Us
Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology is a Nadi astrology centre operated by Guruji T. Balaguru Swamy, a fourth-generation lineage reader based at Vaitheeswaran Koil, Mayiladuthurai District, Tamil Nadu, India.

2. Nature of Services
Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology offers Nadi Jothidam consultations — palm leaf manuscript readings conducted by a lineage-trained astrologer. Our services include but are not limited to General Kandam readings, individual Kandam consultations, Shanthi Kandam remedy guidance, and online Nadi readings delivered via WhatsApp, phone, or video call.
Nadi astrology is a traditional Indian spiritual practice rooted in ancient Tamil Siddha manuscripts. It is offered as a form of spiritual and karmic guidance. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
3. Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals aged 18 years and above. By booking a consultation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or that you are booking on behalf of a minor with full parental or guardian consent. Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology reserves the right to decline consultations at its discretion without being required to provide a reason.
4. Consultation Booking and Confirmation
Consultations are confirmed only upon receipt of a clear thumb impression image and confirmation of the appointment time by our team. Submission of a thumb impression does not automatically guarantee a confirmed appointment slot — scheduling is subject to availability and is confirmed separately by our team.
We reserve the right to reschedule confirmed appointments in cases of unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you as early as possible and offer an alternative appointment at no additional charge.
5. Leaf Search and Results
The Nadi leaf search is conducted using the thumb impression submitted by the client. While we make every effort to locate the client’s specific palm leaf during the search process, Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology does not guarantee that a matching leaf will be found in every case.
If your leaf is not found in the initial search, we will conduct a follow-up search at no additional charge. If your leaf is not found after multiple thorough searches, we will communicate this outcome to you honestly. No guarantee of leaf identification is implied or offered at the time of booking.
6. Accuracy of Readings
Nadi astrology readings are based on ancient palm leaf manuscripts and the interpretive knowledge of our lineage-trained reader. While our readings are conducted with sincerity and care, Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology does not guarantee specific outcomes or the absolute accuracy of any prediction or guidance provided.
All content delivered during a Nadi consultation — including predictions, life event descriptions, and remedy prescriptions — is provided in good faith as spiritual guidance. Clients are encouraged to use this guidance as one source of perspective alongside their own judgment and professional advice where appropriate.
7. Spiritual Guidance Disclaimer
Nadi astrology is a spiritual practice. The information and guidance provided during a consultation — including Kandam readings, karmic analysis, and Shanthi remedy prescriptions — is intended for spiritual and personal reflection purposes only.
Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology expressly disclaims any responsibility for decisions made by clients solely on the basis of their Nadi reading. Clients are solely responsible for their own choices and actions following a consultation.
Nadi readings are not a substitute for:
- Professional medical diagnosis or treatment
- Legal advice from a qualified advocate
- Financial advice from a certified professional
- Psychological or psychiatric consultation

8. Remedies and Practices
Remedy prescriptions provided during the Shanthi Kandam or other remedy chapters of a Nadi reading are spiritual guidance drawn from the palm leaf manuscript. Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology does not guarantee specific outcomes from the performance of prescribed remedies.
Clients choose to follow remedy prescriptions entirely of their own free will. No client is under any obligation to perform prescribed remedies. Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology shall not be held liable for any outcome — positive or negative — connected to a client’s choice to follow or not follow remedy guidance received during a consultation.
9. Payment and Fees
Consultation fees are communicated to the client before the session is confirmed. Payment is required in advance of the consultation unless otherwise agreed in writing. Fees vary based on the number of Kandams selected, the format of the consultation, and whether additional chapters such as the Shanthi Kandam are included.
All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless a specific alternative currency arrangement has been agreed with international clients. Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology reserves the right to revise its fee structure at any time — any such revision will not apply to consultations already confirmed and paid for.
10. Refund Policy
Once a consultation has been completed and the reading has been delivered, fees are non-refundable. If a consultation is cancelled by the client before the session begins, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion depending on the circumstances and the stage of preparation reached.
If Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology cancels a confirmed session for any reason, the full fee paid will be refunded or the session will be rescheduled at the client’s choice.
Refunds are not provided on the grounds that the client’s leaf was not found, as the leaf search is a service conducted in good faith and requires the same time and effort regardless of outcome.
11. Recording and Confidentiality
Consultations conducted online are recorded for the client’s reference. By proceeding with an online consultation, you consent to the recording of the session for your personal use.
Session recordings and written remedy instructions are shared exclusively with the client who booked the consultation. Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology does not share client consultation content with third parties without the client’s explicit consent, except where required by law.
Clients are asked to maintain the confidentiality of their consultation recordings and not to distribute or publish session content publicly without our prior written consent.
12. Privacy and Data
Personal information collected during the booking and consultation process — including name, contact details, and thumb impression images — is used solely for the purpose of conducting your Nadi consultation and communicating with you about your booking.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. Thumb impression images submitted for leaf classification are used only for that purpose and are not stored beyond the requirements of the consultation process.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology website — including text, images, videos, and structural elements — is the property of Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
No content from this website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Consultation recordings and written remedy instructions provided to clients are for personal reference only and may not be reproduced or distributed publicly.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology and Guruji T. Balaguru Swamy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services or from any decision made on the basis of guidance received during a consultation.
Our total liability in any matter arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the fee paid by the client for the specific consultation in question.
15. Third Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or platforms including Google Maps and WhatsApp. These links are provided for convenience only. Maha Shiva Nadi Astrology has no control over the content or practices of third-party platforms and accepts no responsibility for them.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
